Haven't been to Disney in 30 years :scared1: Going back in May, 2008 and welcome any and all advice.

We'll be staying on property, yes, I know it's more expensive than off property...and we're aiming for a Deluxe property such as Grand Floridian, Animal Kingdom Lodge or Beach or Yatch Club.

Looking forward to making friends and receiving some great information on here!

welcome!!:wizard:

Of the hotels you listed, Animal Kingdom is by far our favorite! The Savannah
view lets you see animals right off your balcony. The theming is great!
There is so much information on the DIS, and The Official Guide to WDW book
describes everything in detail. The planning part is so much fun! Have a great trip!

I think you'll find it unbelievable since you last went down!:rotfl: It'll be greta - just don't get too run down - take breaks and enjoy it!:coffee:

Welcome to the DIS!! Things have change a lot at the World since 30 years ago. You will have a GREAT time! :thumbsup2

Welcome to the Dis!!!:woohoo:

My wife and I have gone to WDW for the past 3 yrs the first part of May and have stayed on Property. We like staying at Pop Century, and usually stay 8-10 days. The crowds and weather are decent and we never had too many issues with line or crowds.

Since you are staying on property, be sure to take advantage of extra magic hours. I really enjoy extra magic hours in the morning as you can usually ride what you want with no wait at all. We probably got in a dozen rides before 10am at MK last trip all due to extra magic in the morning.:thumbsup2
