Hi, Does anyone know if a child with Down Syndrome 'qualifies' for a disability pass at the Disney parks? She is able to walk but must be strapped in a stroller at all times for safety reasons..she also has a vision imparement and slight hearing imparement.

Thanks!

Yes, she does qualify for a Guest Assistance Card. You will need a few extra stamps on the card to use the stroller as a wheelchair and also for special seating to accomodate her visual impairments at shows. Click on the link in my signature, and look at the section about the GAC, and feel free to ask any questions you may have. :) :)

Welcome.
Make sure when you go into shows that the CM knows she has a visual impairment AND will be using a stroller as a wheelchair. In some shows, the wheelchair seating is in the back, which would not be the best place for your DD.
From what I have read in posts from people with visual disabilities, there really isn't any special seating in most cases. You are just told to go to the front of the audtorium.
