Hi - just flew in this morning and are all exhausted but we had a wonderful time!!!!
First time with the children - and totally different from how I expected it to be!!
Believe it or not our highlight was Islands of Adventures (yes - with a 4 year old and a 9mth old!!)
They absolutely loved Seuss' landing - I am so glad I bought the Dr Seuss books at xmas - I think we could have spent the whole three weeks in that one area!!
In fact overall we liked Universal Orlando the best - The Hard Rock Hotel was absolutely fabulous (especially the buffet breakfast at the Kitchen
) and getting the water taxi to the park and the whole laid back feel was great!!!
I think it really benefits from being so much smaller than Disney and having the city walk altogether - plus FOTL access for onsite guests is great - all in all - I think the children just enjoyed it so much more as they weren't so tired and irritable as they were with all the queueing and travelling around Disney!!
However we still loved Disney (really loved the new Toy Story Mania ride!!
) and the poly was great - just wish we'd stayed there for the entire disney 'bit' as transferring to the Lindfields villa seemed like a bit of a 'come down' after that!!
(nothing wrong with the villa's location, but was looking a bit run down and shabby i'm afraid!!)
Aquatica was lovely - but Blizzard Beach was THE best water park for our young 'uns!!!
Really enjoyed Tusker House character brekkie, Boma dinner and Shark Grill at Seaworld too!!
Oh and we both thought the 3 day cruise was way too short - blink and we missed it!!! - oh well just lucky I've booked for a 7 night next time!!
I'll be off now for a rest - but I'll be back very soon as I have a 4 week xmas trip for 2010 to plan!!! (Can't afford to go before - but never mind - planning's half the fun anyway isn't it!!)

sounds like you had a fab trip !
) Lindfields Reserve is in a great spot right on the 192 (and literally only 5 mins from AK and no more than 10 from the rest of Disney!!
) there was nothing wrong with it really so I dont want to put you off I think probably we were spoilt a little by what we had done before and plus we hadnt thought about the tiled floors which proved a real headache with our 9mth old cruising son
)
Kai found MK a bit overwhelming so while we were at the Poly we ended up cancelling quite a few ADRs and just went with the flow but I figure it will be a definite next time!!!
- it just may take a while until my mum (yes my MUM!!
