My name is Melissa and I have been a lurker for a little while. My DH's name is Brian and we have 2 little ones, Zachary who is 3 1/2 and Brooklyn who is 3 1/2 months. I dont know why i didnt join sooner!!:confused3 We have been to DL many times. Brooklyn was just 7 weeks on her first DL trip! But we are going on our FIRST trip to WDW on Feb. 9!!:yay: I am sooooo excited! DH has been once when he was younger, so he is currently my expert!:yay:

So is there anything i have to do and cant forget?

TIA!! I am excited to finallt be here!:goodvibes

Welcome aboard. If you have never been to WDW before, I would suggest that you go to your local bookstore and purchase a book on Walt Disney World. You have many choices. Also go to Mousesavers.com for more information or allearsnet.com. Both of these web sites offer alot of information. Don't forget to make your reservations for dinner and shows as soon as you can. Good Luck. Here is some dust to help you along your way.pixiedust:

Hello!!
There is quite a bit of info on these boards-
you can look over the wdw tips board, here on the dis.
great ideas on there!

I'm so excited for you! :goodvibes I agree with the others, get as much info before you go especially doing disney with an infant. Where are you staying? That can make a bit of difference in the convenience of commuting to and from the parks. If you haven't already, check out the Unofficial's guide. They have a great chapter on disney with kids but I'm sure there are many books that do.The most important thing to remember is that you can't "do it all" with little ones. Which makes you realize when you get home~ Hey, I think we need to go back!:rotfl:

:welcome: to both Bri&Lis+2 and Kar44

Melissa, have a wonderful trip. If you have any specific questions, just ask and you will definately get an answer here on the DIS.

Thanks for all of the replys! We are staying at All Star Movies and we are actually leaving the baby at home with grandma! I have made a few reservations already but need to add a few more. What are some great restaurants? TIA!

What are you looking for? Table or counter service, with characters or without? Where will you be spending most of your time? We love Beaches and Cream, Spoodles and Cape May Cafe. They are all centered around where we stay though. It may not be what you are looking for.

Welcome aboard! Assuming you are making reservations already on-site at WDW, you may want to consider the Dining Plan. Check out the details and see if it will work well for you and your family with two so young, and your eating styles. Also, as others have stated, the best thing you can do is get as much information as possible to make sound decisions about what to do and see.

Welcome to the DIS boards!! :wave2: You can find a lot of great suggestions about restaurants over on the restaurants board. Be sure to check out the "pictures of Disney food" thread. It helped me a lot when I was trying to choose which places to eat on our trip last November. Don't read it on an empty stomach, though! I hope that you and your family have a great first trip to WDW! :wizard:

Welcome!!! There is so much info on these boards and everyone is so friendly. The DIS users have great ideas and suggestions that you probably never even thought about! Have fun on the boards and good luck planning your trip!! :)

Hello fellow Disney fans!
I am a long time Disney nut and new to Disboards. I am planning my next trip to WDW and will use all the great help I have found here. Thanks for everything.
