I've been home since 5:30pm. AC has been running since 5:30pm. Non Stop. I love my programable thermostat, but if it's THIS freakin hot again tomorrow, I'm gonna HATE my electric bill!

So I go out for all of 3 hours and you all are busy chatting away...I think I have about 15 pages to catch up on.

The ice cream was delicious. We got Cotton Candy, Strawberry and Cake Batter! Yummy!!! This was the first time I tried it and I think it is a bad thing as I will want to go there all the time.

Emma and Mo loved meeting Katelyn. She is so adorable even with a black eye!
Her tear duct is clogged and now infected and it looks as if someone punched her. Poor thing. Anyone who would like to see a picture let me know and I will PM it. I can share it privately but not post it for anyone to see.

Is it Chicken Paprikas? That's a Hungarian dish that my grandmother used to make for me. I am definitely craving it now over her dumplings (they were made from a noodle dough, not a baking powder-type dumpling). My husband doesn't like it (calls it "toxic waste"), but that's because he doesn't like sour cream which is in the sauce. That is definitely going on my fall menu planner!

Nope, but I'd love the recipe if you get it handy! This is basically chicken breasts browned in oil and butter, then saute green onions until tender. Add more butter, lots of paprika, heavy whipping cream and salt and pepper to taste. It's simmering on the stove and smells good, but I think your recipe with sour cream would be even better!!!!!

Hello, all! Well this has been a weird weather day in Utah. We've been having a heat wave the last little while, but last night thunderstorms moved in. It rained all night long, which cooled us down a lot, but it was still raining this morning, so I couldn't walk today, bummer! I took the kids to the library this morning, and as we were on our way home, it began to rain again. Then the wind picked up. It got really bad, and I just heard on the news that the hail and rain were so bad about 15 miles south of us that a small airport was completely destroyed. People's homes have lost roofs, trees have been uprooted and all kinds of damage has been done. I'm grateful we were spared that, at least!

Now, it looks better outside. Katie has a friend over and they are attempting to make "fairy cakes", so I'll be popping in and out making sure they don't destroy my kitchen. I don't mind the mess I know I'll find, but I'd hate to have total destruction!

Glad to hear that you are safe. It is hard when it happens so close and you wonder why them and not us.
