Just found out about this board this morning and I am so excited! We are going to WDW in November and it will be our first family trip! I want to make the most of it for my 2 boys who are 3 and 5. Hoping to get a few questions answered. Just a warning, I am pretty much a WDW "virgin" so please be gentle! LOL! Thanks!

Try listening to the weekly podcast, they always have great reviews and tips.

:welcome: from another Virginian! :disrocks: I have gotten a lot of help here with my questions. It's so great to get answers from experienced Disney World goers. Guide books are helpful but I've gotten some excellant advice here. Have fun on the boards! :wave2:

The best piece of advice I can give, if you are new to Disney and going this November, is have your ADRs (advance dining reservations) in place before you go. With the increasing popularity of the dining plan it is very had, if not impossible, to walk up and get a table service/sit-down meal (let alone a character meal!).

Hope ya'll have a magical vacation!

Have fun planning your trip! There is a ton of information out there so don't get too overwhelmed. It's easy to do.

Another Virginian here. From Herndon, up in NoVA.

I thought I was a hardcore Disney vacationer, until I started reading some threads here...

Hi,:wave2:
I to am from VA, Chesapeake and am new here too. You will find lots of information and friendly people so willing to help you when you need it and there is so much information you can gain by just reading. :surfweb: It can be overwhelming.

WDW is our favorite vacation, this will be our 11th trip but the first without the whole gang in tow, we are empty nesters now, my baby is almost 20. We are going for our Anniversary. :yay:

Have a Magical Trip, :tink: but remember it can be addictive!

Hello to all my fellow Virginians! I'm in Occoquan. That's a little north of

Howdy neighbor, I live in Woodbridge!

The Dis is a great place for information but this is your first trip and like anything else it takes time and experience. However, if you do not already have ADRs I would strongly suggest making them ASAP to guarantee any of the special ones you want to make certain you hit. Just be practical, the last time we went I read all of these things to pack and it was a great list so I pack alot of it and didn't use half of it, but I did have it if I needed it!:rotfl:
