Hi there!

I'm new to the Dis boards, but not to forums! It's been a while since I've been a n00b though, so I thought it best to introduce myself :)

I'm Michelle and live with my husband and son in the UK! We are currently planning our 3rd trip to Walt Disney World for August 2014 and can't wait!

Our first "once in a lifetime" trip to WDW was in August 2011. We stayed for 3 weeks in a villa out in Davenport and had a blast - we did as much as we could thinking we might never get the chance to go again....but we did just that and returned to the same villa in August 2013! Again for 3 weeks, and again had wonderful time!

I booked our 3rd trip a couple of weeks ago. We have decided to try staying onsite, and have booked 2 weeks at OKW with the free DDP, which we are considering upgrading to DxDDP but still undecided on it at the moment. We are "only" going for 2 weeks on this trip as can't get the time off work (hubs that is, not me, I'm self-employed as a website designer)

We are stuck to school holidays which is why we go in August, but hope to one day get to the World for Halloween and Christmas! :tigger:

Hubs and I have also visited Disneyland Paris for the day when we were in the city for our 1st wedding anniversary :lovestruc

I write a lifestyle blog - I write about so many things but I some it up by saying that the motto for my blog is "cook, craft, create, connect"! I share recipes, food, family life, photography and travel. I have written trip reports for our first trip as well as to DLP and am still writing up my current reports! I love writing them and reading them too, so hope to start sharing them here (they're already over on my blog as well as another Disney forum I belong to)

Look forward to browsing these boards for even more tips, inspiration, fun and photos!

Hi there

I'm also Michelle and I'm from the UK too (down south!).

My DH and DS (who will be 4) are going to WDW next November (393 days!!). We are staying at Saratoga springs for two weeks and can not wait. This will be my second visit (3rd for DH). We took DS to DL Paris last year when he was two and he loved it! Can't wait for next year!

Very jealous of everyone going before me! Ha!! :)

I too am down south - Essex :yay:

My boy is a teen (15 on our next trip) and is excited to be going back - as are hubs and myself!! I'm jealous of anyone able to go at any time! I wish we weren't tied to the school hols!

I lived in Essex for 4 years (1 in Brentwood, 3 in Harlow)... I'm in West Sussex now. Where are you, Michelle?

Ahh... I'm from the portsmouth area.

We only have two years of holidaying in term time and then we will fall victim to the higher prices and busy clouds!

Crowds not clouds!! :)

I've just had to ring the Walt disney travel company to make sure ours and my MIL's bookings are linked. Just phoning them gets me all excited and I get that childish butterflies-in-stomach kinda feeling! I'm terrible! Every time I go to either WDW or Paris, I am reduced to tears when I see the castle for the first time!
