I'm from the Houston area and currently planning our 1st trip EVER to Disney. We are very excited, but overwhelmed! Do you know if the weather in Orlando is comparable to the Texas Coast?

I have two planned right now. I will be at AKV June 22-July 5th this year and then I have the 8/15/09 Magic booked. I would like to go sometime during Christmas this year as well but not sure if I will make it. And you?

When we went in June I did not find it anywhere near as hot and muggy as Houston. A lot do not like WDW in the summer because they say the heat is unbearable but to me it was nothing compared to Texas!

We are planning two as well (hopefully) DH is Active duty and "fixin" to retire. We may try and squeeze in a couple's only trip before he starts his new career cause he won't have vacation for a while.

Then we are planning a trip for next June 09. Our DS will graduate and wants a Disney trip for graduation so we will probably go to WDW for 5 days an then add on a 4 night Wonder cruise (our first). I still have to book all of that, but will soon.
