Hi! My name is Courtney and i have been a major Disney fan for a long time. I have been a lurker for awhile and finally got the courage to post partly because im going to WDW for the first time ever in January to celebrate my 21st birthday and mainly because i LOVE disney .

I have been to Disneyland countless number of times and cannot wait to finally be able to go to WDW. Disney has always been a big thing in my family. My parents would bring me and my siblings to Disneyland at least once a year. Then when i was 13, my father had a stroke. Thankfully he pulled through, but it became hard for my family to continue our yearly trips. Now that i am older, i can afford to go on trips and once i step through those gates, i am brought back to the times where my dad was better and life was good. So yea, sorry for the sad story but i just wanted to explain how much Disney means to me

I can't wait to get to know everyone because this is such a great community and i would love to be apart of it!

Thank you so much for the warm welcome! I think i'm already sucked into the addiction hehe I go onto the DIS every chance that i get. I can't wait to celebrate at WDW! January is just too far away!

Hi Courtney! I grew up going to Disneyland too... it's a terrific place. Enjoy that first trip to WDW - it's a great place too.

Welcome! You will love WDW. It is such a great place. My parents took my sisters and I to WDW every year since 1978 and I love it myself. Everyone asks me why we go there year after year and my response is "BECAUSE IT IS THE GREATEST PLACE ON EARTH".
