Colonial Beach, we're half between Richmond and DC. 37 miles do east of Fredericksburg.

Yep, I know where that it. DD marched in a parade there. Well she was supposed to but it was raining adn they cancelled the parade after we got down there and sat on the bus over a hour with about 35 other little girls adn it was my dh birthday. He got a bologna sandwich and the girls singing him happy birthday over and over and over. We still laugh about the trip. We did get to walk around and see the town, looked really nice.

Was that the parade in June? Which year? My husband and I are very active with the parades, he is usually the one running the sound system.

No it was in November, i think with the Oyster Festival or something like that, it's been a few years. Funny though, my husband used to do the announcing at son's association football games. Men and their toys.
