Hi All

We are home from our two weeks in Florida with Mandy's family, here are some Highs and Lows:-

Highs

TCD Sunshine First - exceeded my expectations thank you...
Meeting Vince Neil in the Velvet Lounge the night before his Velvet Session.
HRH - champagne sent to our room after we bumped into one of the Managers as we were checking in....Happy Birthday Me!
Seeing the shuttle in the sky from Typhoon Lagoon - wow!
Our day at Kennedy Space Centre - (even though Mandy made me go on to Cocoa Beach in the rain!)
Dinner at V & A - even better than last time!
Being with Mandy's family - most of the time anyway!
Cheap upgrade to a convertible from a economy car

Lows

Tropical storm - where was our lovely weather???
TCD villa - never again!!!! Location awful, standard rubbish (including unwashed stained sheets on one of the beds)
Seeing the cruise terminal and not going on a cruise this time
Being with all the family!! - too many people, too many late starts, too much waiting around.....
poor Mandy's Dad being unwell for much of the time and not being able to drive or get around very well
Not getting to the Velvet Session, due to a whole bunch conspiring reasons.
Only having the roof down 4 times on the car!

Back to work tomorrow, and for the first time in 5 years I don't have a holiday booked!!

Back to work tomorrow, and for the first time in 5 years I don't have a holiday booked!!

Welcome home, Mandy and Mark. We were stuck in the same tropical storm - that's exactly what we said - where the heck's our normal Florida weather gone!". Still, like I said when dragging around Busch in 73degrees and chucking down with rain all day, I'd still rather be over there

Best get cracking with decision making for the next holiday . . it's the only way and you know it
