Hi all! My name is Natalie, and I'm a freshman in college. I'm a looooong-time lurker (I found the Dis way back before my trip back in August 2010) and first-time poster!
I absolutely LOVE Disney! I've been fortunate enough to go seven times between 1996 and 2010.
I did the majority of the planning for my family (me, Mom, and Dad) for our trip in August 2010 (the Dis was a HUGE help 
). Since that was the summer before my senior year in high school and we thought we wouldn't be back for a while, we went all out. We stayed at AKL for 7 nights with the DxDP, and it was great! But of course, not going back for a long time was not going to work for long 
, so I've decided to save my earnings from my part-time job, and take my parents to Disney in August 2013 for their 25th wedding anniversary (their 25th is actually this August, but I need some time to save and we want to wait until Fantasyland is closer to completion). 
This will be more of a budget trip: staying at a value, only doing a couple TS, and hopefully flying on points from the Southwest credit card. I'm really excited and want to start a PTR since I'm going to be doing the bulk of the planning (except for making the actual reservations) this summer since I won't have a ton of time while I'm at school next year. Is it too early? I don't want people to skip over my PTR because my trip is so far away.
