Mind if I hang out here for my 1000th post?

I've been away from the boards for a while traveling for work and super busy both at work at home. Now I'm getting back to normal busy, and looking forward to my first stay at BCV. Can't wait for Stormalong Bay! We leave for Disney (pop century first then BCV) 3 days after my daughter's high school commencement. Just the two of us again, so a nice relaxing vacation that we both really need! My son just left Monday for Navy basic training, so that was sad yet happy. Now I am so ready for a break!

I think I have one or two more posts to go right now for the 1000th! Here we go!

Congratulations to your DD and DS. Where has your son gone for basic training? We often have Coast Guard recruits who are in basic training for Christmas or Thanksgiving, as they train in Cape May NJ. My heartful thanks goes to your son and all who serve our country as well as their families.

We'll be at BCV from July 1-5, but I suppose you're going to be there earlier.

Thank you for your kind words, This is a terrific 1000th post.

My son is in Great Lakes, IL. Can't wait to see him in a couple of months for graduation. I'm a Dis Veteran but I'm a Navy Mom Newbie!
