Hi Campers

A word to the wise if you were not already aware of it.....August is going to be very hot, humid and sticky all along the east coast but especially in Florida, New York and DC. Expect temperatures around/above 32 degrees Celcius.

We get used to it, have been in Aug four times over the years.

Thanks manning looks really interesting just the sort of thing we would like to see/visit:).

Also in that area is Jamestown.

About a 14 hour drive to Colonial Williamsburg from Disney. Call it 1.5 days to be on the safe side.

2.5 days doing Colonial Williamsburg/Yorktown/Jamestown (there's a lot to see there).

Couple of hours drive to DC. 3.5 days in DC.

A little over half a day's drive up to New York City.

3.5 days in New York city and 2.5 days back to Disney.

And there you have the 2 weeks I think you were looking at doing.
