So, Universal released a video today thanking people for a great year of Halloween Horror Nights but the video ends with a teaser for next year. They reveal the event will run from September 25th to October 31st, 2015. But the even bigger reveal is that it looks like the original HHN icon, Jack the Clown, is about to come back. You can find the video on Universal's YouTube channel, I can't post it since I'm not at 10 posts yet.

My thoughts:
-Jack being back is the best news I've heard out of theme park world in a while! Super pumped!
-Not sure why Universal is axing a weekend for next year, with the event growing and capacity as high as ever I would think cutting the amount of nights the event runs is a bad idea.

Jack has always been my least liked icon..............

clowns do nothing for me.
they bore me.

hopefully, the houses will be even better than this years!

I'm hoping if they're teasing Jack that they're going to dig up some old stuff to have for HHN25. Even though I've only been going since HHN20 I'd love things from way back. Everything that I missed seems like it was a lot of fun.

We came out of Roanoke tonight and I know they'd recently put up a video of sorts on the building and we got to see Castle Vampyr, some of Hellgate Prison, and the intro video for HR Bloodengutz. It was fun to see two things I hadn't seen before along with something I had loved from HHN21.

I suspect Jack won't be the only past icon making an appearance for 25. But he's by far the most popular so it's a no brainer he is the first one teased. Hopefully this means the event won't be so IP dominated. I want a few good IP houses, but we've getting overloaded with them since 22 and most of them have been average at best outside of a few exceptions (Halloween, American Werewolf).

next year will be the silver year so i know it will be awesome........

that first week hhn is open is fri/sat and with an earlier closing time.

with taking that early week out of the schedule, maybe opening week will be fr/sa/su with later hours.

opening weekend i have attended 3 times.
each time the crowds were light.
i like going later in the season when all the glitches are smoothed over.

i'm okay with them cutting that early week out.

marco, you'll have to be back for the regular group night ........
same sunday as usual with the homies.

Tuesday, I completed a 25 minute survey online sent to me by US regarding my impressions of HHN content, marketing, ticketing etc. There were a number of questions regarding the inclusion of Walking Dead yet again and whether or not it would enhance or be a detriment to the HHN experience. Although I, personally would not mind it, I won't be attending. I answered that it was overdone.

You guys are starting to get me thinking about a quick little trip for HHN25 though. ;)

This is all exciting for me to hear. 2015 will be our first time attending....we are booked for October 10th to 17th  .
