HHN XX when are you going list

With the addition of that picture above, I think that I'll fork out the cash for the express pass along with my S & S ticket (October 27th). There's no way I could wait in a line that long - Especially that close to Halloween :lmao:

what are you guys trying to do, give an hhn newbie a panic attack? Guess we will be deciding to add express passes as well.

I forgot to add that we'll be doing S&S with EP's for both nights (Oct.22&23)

We`ll be there Sunday 24th October, Sunday 31st October for definite and could be Wed 27th Oct as well :cool1:

Oh doing S & S those nights as well.

As much as it sucks to say, I am boycotting them indefinitely. The increase in ticket and hotel price has spiraled out of control. They are quoting me $480 for 1 single night at the Royal Pacific standard room w/king and $390 for a 2 day base ticket with SS on Saturday.

Last year we booked for the same weekend and it was $153 for the same room and $320 for the tickets which was actually a 7 day park to park ticket.

Additionally, the crowd is nuts this year due to Harry Potter and as a result I have to pay more.

Forget any of those parks, I think I am over it all anyways. How many times can you really visit the same place before it gets old.

HHN this year also looks extremely lack luster considering it's #20. :(

Get an AP, as of last week they had rooms at RP for $130ish and HHN tickets are discounted through much of the event. I paid around $35/night for them.

I thoroughly disagree, I think the houses and scare zones look awesome.

Any fraidy cats going on 30th September?

We've been twice now, 2007 and 2009, and I was much less scared in 2009 when there was a group of 6 of us, as opposed to just 2 of us in 2007.

We're back down to 2 again this year, so I need to find some more similarly minded people to go through the houses with us again! :rotfl:

We're armed with Expresses Passes, but still had no luck trying to book S&S over the phone, as we'd already bought our passes in the UK, so we need to upgrade when we're there...

We'll be there Sunday Oct. 3rd. Doing the parks during the day! Then HHN at night!!:banana: I am tempted to go ahead and buy the EP's, but I'm thinking I should wait til' the day of to see what the houses will be like! What do you guys think? I just hate to waste that money!

I'm planning on doing the Frequent Fear Plus Express, so I'm going for full immersion this year. I do plan to be there 9/24 & 25, and hopefully as many other FF nights as I can manage. As I'm travelling solo this year, happy to connect with anyone else looking to bolster their numbers.

The ticket cost isn't what bothers me mostly, it's the room cost. When you say $130 for RP last week do you literally mean for booking a room for last week or for October during HHN?

I just called and the lowest they could offer me was $269 per night before tax. Had I not called, the lowest I could find was $480 per night on their website.

They also told me they no longer have any Florida discounted rooms and they have been sold out for months...

Also, we only go to Orlando during HHN so an AP wouldn't be worth it imo.

I didn't mean to imply the housed looked bad but certainly not worthy of the 20th year.

In my 4 years of going I have never thought the EP's weren't worth every penny. I would definitely recommend getting them and getting them before you go especially if you're only going the one night. In my opinion it is the only way to see everything in one night.

That's what I thought...I think I will purchase them!! We used to live in Orlando so we had the FFP for the last three years and could go whenever we wanted! Now we live in Cali :sad2:... so only one day visit for us!!

What dates are you going?

I decided that I'm gonna go on Oct 20th!
I booked the disney trip this weekend and then realized I could do this one night. HECK YA!

I'm going alone, I live with a bunch of scaredy cats.

Try and do the stay & scream to get the most out of one night. If not express tick, that way you can see more. It's gonna be extremely busy every night this year.Just a heads up!!

I think that I'm gonna add the 27th as well as the 28th of October to my dates. HHN seems to be too fun to resist based on what I've been reading on here (Will be a 1st time visitor). I'm a notorious jumper and have been known to utter out "magic" words when I get frightened so I think this will be a ball! Will probably add S&S + Express for the 27th and maybe just express for the 28th
