Hhn / velvet sessions!

Hi!
I am staying in HRH from Thurs 30th Sept for 5 days. Trying to decide when to do HHN. The Thursday is the cheapest and I guess would be the quietest? But thats also the Velvet Sessions night, which I have never been to but am interested in trying. Has anyone been to this? Is it any good? When do they usually announce who will be playing? I can't decide what to do!!
Do you think HHN will be very busy on Fri 1st?? T.I.A.

I don't think they have announced the AP weekends yet but last year the weekend of October 1st was an AP weekend with special rates for passholders. It brings in a huge crowd plus it's a Friday and Fridays are never slow. I think you would be wise to do Thursday since it's a little slower than Friday.
