We went to HHN on 10/03 and have a couple of tips for those going. As was stated, if you have HHN tickets you can remain inside the park at 5P and stay in the Jurassic park/Lost continent area. Both were open. The Psycho Scareapy house opened at about 5:30, which was listed as opening at 7 and we got in then. This was the best house in our opinion. The all night drive in also opened early, about 6:30 and we did that as well, with a small line. This was nice as we got two houses done before the crowds even got in. The regular crowds came in then and we did the screamhouse with the express passes. Even though we did the first two houses with no lines, I was glad we had those express passes because the lines were huge after. We then did the first showing of Bill and Ted which was funny. The later shows of Bill and Ted were not nearly as crowded (we watched it one more time). Also, the rides were all pretty much walk ons. We had express passes for the rides but no-one even looked at them. Any questions, I'll try to answer within a day or so.

The security is really tight at HHN. It is much more involved than the regular security that they normally have at the parks.

They had metal detectors that you walk through (like at the airports) and hand held wands also. You have to empty all your pockets and put your wallet, coins, keys, etc. on a tray just like at the airport secuirty check points. My husband had a computer wrench that he forgot he had in his pocket (looks kind of like a swiss army knife but actually are tools for working on computers--no sharp blades or anything.) They confiscated it and gave him a ticket stub to pick it up when we left the park.

We did HHN Saturday night. Do not miss Bill and Ted! Psychoscareapy was good (we did it twice). The toilets were gross. My DS15 liked the Director at the Drive-In (twice as well). We hit all the houses, Bill and Ted, rides with the express passes by 10:30. It was crowded and by 10:30 the drunks were noticable. The TIP is arrive early!! When the queues fill up the scares are way too predictable.

Motherfletcher thank you, that is something i wanted to mention but forgot to because i was tired. If you stay over for the 5-7pm and go into any open houses early with no crowd, you walk virtually alone and the affect is magnified. When the crowds get long, you walk in a line and see everything coming ahead of time. Maybe thats why we thought the first two houses were so much better. Also, it was like amatuer night with all the drunks and a lot of Orlando's finest to keep order. It seemed like everyone but us was getting tanked. Do they ever have problems there with this?
