HHN Tips

The ride lines tend to be short as compared to the houses...sometimes as low as 5 to 10 mins., but on crowded nights they go to 45 mins. or way more. However, you can use singles on MiB and Mummy.

Hi gang - how were the crowds this weekend? Anyone know if EP sold out?

I went Saturday night and the lines after 9 pm were awful. About 90 minute waits for everything and it was so damn cold and windy. We ended up leaving at 11:30 and didn't even go through the scare zones as it wasn't worth it to stay and freeze just for those. I'm not sure if the ep was sold out, but I really wish I would have gotten one. I was at IOA on Sunday and the crowds coming in from 7-8 were so heavy that night also (which surprised me as it was Sunday and extremely cold).

But it's totally worth it to do stay and scream if you don't have an ep. We got done with 4 houses and the simpsons ride by 6:50. We went straight to Silver Screams, then Chucky, Saw and the Spawning. We pretty much walked straight in all of them, which was awesome. But not so cool later when we waited 1 hr plus for the houses on the other side of the park.

My advice is definitely go for the express passes.

EP was sold out on Sunday and the crowd was HUGE! Thankfully we did Stay and Scream and got lots done before the crowd exploded (2 in Silver Screams, 1 in Chucky, 2 in Saw and 1 in Cleaver, all done before the lines built up).

Interesting! Was The Spawning open? The exits from Chucky and The Spawning were merging last weekend.

Now that we're back we've seen the difference. Opening weekend Chucky exited through the Barney theatre and out into the Kids Zone so you could go right over to the Silver Screams entrance. It's probably because those 2 houses were open for the event and Spawning didn't open until about 45 minutes later.

Wow, I can't believe I haven't been on Disboards for weeks. Still haven't written my TR but went on both Friday and Saturday opening night.

Friday I was done by 9 pm. This was the other:
Wolfman, Dracula, Frankenstein, Leave it to Cleaver, Saw, Spawning, Chucky, Silver Screams.
What was wrong with this order: Frankenstein did not open until 6:30, so had to wait after Dracula. Leave it to Cleaver SHOULD NOT be done when there is still light, it is aweful. Wait till it gets darker. All other houses tend to get busier by the time you reach them, especially Chucky and Saw.

Saturday, I was done by 9 pm. This is the order I reccommend the best!
Wolfman, Dracula (was out by 6:20), walked all the way to Annual Passholders area and waited about two minutes until the are opened at 6:30. Then went straight to Chucky, came out, did Silver Screams, exit is right next to Spawning, did Spawing. Then I did Saw (queue wasn't too bad yet). Then did Leave it to Cleaver, much better when it is dark, and finished with Frankenstein by 9. Since it was early, I got myself an express pass and redid all houses again since queues were a bit longer. :cool1:

Hope this helps. :thumbsup2
