HHN tickets on sale now

Why are they so expensive? I don't remember them being like that in 2014 i paid FFP +EP for 6 people and it only cost $1,150 and change. And October 23rd is not a Friday it's a Sunday we arrive on that day . I was looking at the EP and it's only for one day the wrong day.. and this just doesn't make sense to me I don't understand the pricing for all of it when alot of them seem the same can someone help me to understand. I was thinking of buying separately but that is more expensive since I have to buy for 4, me, my husband and 9 year old twins. which one do you think would be the best way for me to go the EP is a must for us. I forgot to mention we are going on the 23rd of October and the 26th so we are going to HHN 2 nights and we express passes for both nights

I just put in my cart FFP+ EP and when I click on add to cart it says $319.99 when i get to the cart it says $399.99 I think they have a problem

The site started to have info on it at 11 this morning
I called at that time to book the private RIP Hhn tour

Ticket prices were not up on the Hhn site but were being loaded as I got off the phone

Around 2 today, noticed the tickets, passes etc were being listed I the Hhn site
Looks like all is in place now

I did notice crazy price lists when I first clicked on the links then found a different section with cheaper prices

I assumed you ran into a computer glitch

Since the AP passes/ tickets were not on yet I will wait until that link is up and running
Discount tickets are better
Makes it worth to keep my preferred pass

Babesboo, wait a few days and then buy the tickets
System should be corrected then

Thank you, I think that is what I am going to do.

I went to the AP ticket site and they have the Ff+ with no Friday or Saturday for the $319.99

The other FF+ that includes Friday's is
$399.99

Which AP FF+ were you wanting to buy?

I had to read it a couple of times before I realized that one had Friday's included and the other one did not

Looks like all prices are listed now since I started posting here

We don't need Fridays just Oct 23rd Sunday and Oct 26th Wednesday

I just re read and I didn't' see that Friday one lol.. we just need what I stated before only Sunday and Wednesday . Thank you for noticing that. We would like to get what we bought before FF with EP and no Fridays . even though we are not going to use all of the days it works out cheaper in the end I think

Ok if someone could answer a few questions for me I would be grateful :).
This will be our first HHN. Due to our vacation dates we can only go October 29th, 30th or 31st. That's a Friday, Saturday and Sunday. My guess is all will be very busy? Any one that would be better than the others?
We pre purchased our park tickets. Does that mean I have to wait until I get there to buy HHN tickets?

A quick way to see which of those 3 nights will be best is look and see that the express will cost for each of those dates

The higher the ep cost is a red flag that it will be packed

UO has higher prices as they know they can sell them

I stopped going on Saturday nights 5 years back
Ep lines long, reatroom lines long, eateries or drink stands .. Long

Too many peeps in the park and not easy to get thru the crowds

I always do Friday's and Sunday's

Probably more crowds on Fridays as the next day is not a work day

Check the prices for Hhn tx by dates
Go the night that have cheaper tix and ep tixs

Perfect. That makes sense. It's actually looking like the Sunday or even Halloween night itself (Monday) will be the best choice. It will be dd19 and dh going and I plan to get them the express so they can fully enjoy the night. They are really looking forward to it. Ds12 and I plan to go to a movie or maybe Blue Man Group or something fun for the two of us. Thanks for the quick answer macraven:flower3:.

Glad to help and others that do Hhn, also give a lot of advice
Once the excitement starts, you will see the annual local poster that does Hhn share their thoughts on the dis here
I always appreciate them as I learn a lot from their postings too

I started going to Hhn in 1999 and have not missed a year yet

Don't think many locals will do the Monday as it is a work day for most

If Halloween is celebrated on Saturday in Orlando, that can cut back the crowds
Locals may be doing Halloween parties themselves or maybe take their kids for trick or treating is my thought

sorry i missed that part of your question earlier.

if you bought your uo day park tickets directly from UO, you can call and buy the add on tickets for hhn.
UO has a record of your sale, in case you don't have your order number or don't remember it, they can look it up for you.

if you bought the park tickets from another vendor, then all you have to do is go to guest services, show your park ticket and then you are eligible to buy the add on hhn ticket.

you can buy the add on ticket any day.
it does not have to be bought on the day you will do hhn.

if you arrive on a monday and plan to do hhn on a friday, buy the hhn ticket monday.

basically all you have to do is show you have a day park ticket to purchase the add on tix.

I just noticed there is an ultimate frequent fear pass on sale now. I dont remember this from previous years. Is this a new pass?

I was wondering the samething. I think it includes all the nights from what I saw .

Geez the VIP options are selling out super quick. I am attending the first weekend from out of town and that is my only option. The behind the scenes tour was sold out completely for Friday and Saturday already. Luckily I was able to get Sunday morning.

Does the first weekend usually sell out, just the regular HHN tickets?

I am thinking of getting the AP discounted Friday tickets. Hopefully those won't sell out as quick as the VIP tours.

i called and booked my day tour this morning.
for my dates, it was wide open in october columbus day weekend.

sell outs can happen for opening week for the day tours.
if the demand is great, vip tours can possibly open up more tours if they have TG available to work the schedule.

opening weekend in the past usually does not sell out from what i have read.
i'm talking about park tickets for that weekend.

ultimate fear pass is a new for this year.
every night admission with express.
exceptional buy for locals.

if you went for 5 nights with express, this pass would pay for itself.
i'm a die hard hhn fan and if i lived closer, i would buy it.

Yeah, the behind the scenes VIP tour was sold out the first Friday and Saturday, the VIP cheaper House express pass tour was sold out for Friday and Saturday opening. I had no idea they went so quick, was considering the cheaper VIP express pass tour but it is already sold out. Ah well, hopefully we can see every house at least once on that opening day Friday. We'll have day tickets so we'll stay inside the park and try to get a jump that way.

That is good about the regular tickets...was hoping to wait a few more paychecks before I purchase the Friday night HHN ticket.

I agree with you on the ultimate fear pass, if I were a local I'd buy the frequent pass. We live in Texas and will only be in Orlando for the one weekend in September. So we'll do the AP discounted single day tickets.

lots of wonky pricing if you ask me lol. Nearly fainted when i saw the price off the Frequent Fear Plus + HHN Express (all prices w/AP discount referenced - $387.88+) :scared1: They are scaring the pants off me and I haven't even hit Orlando soil! Certainly won't work within my travel budget this year. Although, I can see it would be of interest to a die-hard fan or one planning to visit more than a handful of times this season.

I will be springing for a share in a RIP tour, to me that has an intristic value that cannot be discounted...and I gets to hang with my friends & drink beer too:laughing:priceless.

Can't blame them for charging what they think the market will bear, people need to vote with their feet & not buy a particular pass if they feel it's over-priced. Maybe the head honchos will get the message.

Will be going with the Frequent FearPlus (all sundays/weds/thurs/fri, at $106.99+ pp it's a bargin imo

Pulled out my travel file today as I had to renew an AP. Found notes from 2014.

Paid $88.99+ then for the Frequent Fear Pass. It's currently $91.91+

Then looked @ the PAP renewal price - 40% increase over two years. hmmm, quite a bigger bite. Still, it's less than half of what i have to now pay to renew my WDW Gold AP.

We are going 2 nights Oct 23rd and Oct 26th so I guess I will have no choice to spend the money. The only thing I find a waste is we are only using 2 days and not all of the days. I would do a add on or even get a ticket separately but we want EP and that combined would cost more than the FFP with EP.
