I'm starting to plan a trip to US and WDW. I'm trying to figure which night would be best to go to HHN.
Sun. 9/25, Thurs 9/29, or Sun. 10/2. We will be staying on site and most likely buy the HHN express pass. So of those 3 which would be the least crowded?

looking at your dates i can say that oct 3rd will have the larger of the 3 dates on crowds.

locals that buy the event pass for admission, usually hit the weekends no matter what part of the HHN month it is .

years back, thursdays were a low attendance date for hhn.
it's a week night and many would wait for the weekend to attend instead.

for me, i noticed the surge of attendance for thursdays 2 years back.
also Sundays have also increased in numbers over the past 5 years.

quite a few sundays, when i was there, hours were extended from what was listed on the HHN calendar in advance.

thursdays will close earlier than sundays or it has been in the past.

i don't like to say how it will be for 2016 as those in charge of HHN, do make adjustments and changes from what we regulars are used to.
i can only state what it has been up to 2015 HHN's that i have been going to.

i buy the combo pass that includes entrance and ep.
it includes all but saturdays.
last year i did the combo that excluded fri/sat in the line up.
paid for friday hhn ticket with ap discount as i was there for a private tour which required a hhn ticket.

based on past hhn i have been to, if i could only buy one night of the ep, it would be for sunday oct 2

when the prices are released, check and see if the value of a pass would be cheaper.
they have had a special "first 10 nights of hhn tickets" for sale in the pass.

figure out the nightly cost of a ticket and ep.
ep will be date related on costs.
then make a decision once you have all the facts.

rush of fear
frequent fear
have been the name of some of the popular passes in past years.
some include the ep which can be used only once per house/ride
early show valid with the passes.

cost of individual tickets are based on the date
