Earliest I can recall in 6 years, but this is from the official website:

And this year is more frightening than ever, as Universal Orlando prepares for its petrifying “Sweet Sixteen” Halloween Horror Nights. For nineteen nights in 2006—September 29 and 30, October 6-8, 11-15, 19-22, 26-29 and 31—the streets of Universal Studios will come alive with walking dead and terrified guests. Will you survive?

This is somewhat confirmation of Screamscape's report re: the giant birthday cake as well.

Thanks I've been waiting for those. If I recall correctly last year the hours were different on certain nights, is that correct? Is there a way to find that out or is it too soon?

I didn't see anything official, but IIRC the rule of thumb is Friday/Saturday until 2:00 a.m., all other nights until midnight.

how much are hhn tickets for pap holders? and arethere different types of passes you can get?

Wow, that is early.. we usually don't hear anything until August.

Yes, Annual Passholders do have different price points. I don't know if it's different this year but there's different prices for peak nights (usually Fridays and Saturdays) and non-peak nights (Sunday thru Thursday).

Last year, my non-peak night ticket with Annual Pass discount was only $25. Then another $25 for Express.

Is there any difference between a peak night and a non peak night? Aside from the time the park stays open till?

Ther usally is some type of reduced scaractors and some rides or parts of the park will be closed off. I belive it really depends on the crowd size for
"non peak nights" I've been there on hell night and the event was still going on at 1:00 a.m, it was very crowded (hhn13) We always go columbus day week sun thru fri, with a frequent fear pass we get 3 nights of hhn for
one price.

I was counting on it, even though we havent spoken for a while!! lol I just checked HRH rates and only the King Suite and the Kid's suite were the only rooms that came up... no boring cheap regular rooms.... BUT when I did the gore package, which from the looks of it does not include HHN tickets, shows other rooms... I have not checked Loew's yet, but I do think I need to get on this and book our rooms ASAP!!!

Woot! Cant wait! Woot! HHN! Woot Cant wait!

We'll be there on the 6th, think it's too intense for two girls 9 & 11? Oh yeah, two old fogies in their 40's too. Also, that night is DH's birthday too!

I felt it was intense and I am an old fogie in my 40's.... It really is for teens on up IMO....

I can't believe it's only 4 months until HHN. Where did this year go??? :sad2:

i wouldn't take girls 9 & 11 to hhn. signs posted all around that it is not a child event. it is very intense. even some adults have problems with it.

it's your choice but the language is lewd in the shows like bill and ted and there is a beer stand about every 50 feet in the park.

Yeah I know, a little slow, but I have had on trip after another, after another is seems and just cant seem to work out all the details of 5 trips all at once...

(everyone should have my problems)

That and the fact that I was not sure if that week was the ITBS tests for our school. Took until just last week for them to get back to me about it, and I asked for the information 3 months ago... lol So know I know the tests are the week before! Woot! So all is good. (our cruise in Oct 2007 was in jeapordy too with those tests, but I was assured the 4th week of September was the direction they were leaning for 2007 too!)

I will book the kid's suite tonight, so we at least have a room, and go from there.... lol

Laura <--------- who is anixous to see who will be in the velet sessions this month, since I will be on a girls trip woot!

I tell you, no one can spend $1000 faster than I can.... lol

We are booked for two nights HRH Kid's suite. AAA discount. I did not check AP discount, but I will later...... lol

i get the email invites each month.
i'll have to see if i still have the email for the one for june.

the kids suite is very nice.

for the first time ever..........i switched form hrh to rph.
thnking to switch back again.

I get the emails too, and none yet for June!!! Soon though you would think... lol

No HRH??? Wow.... I cant imagine staying any where else! And we loved the kid's suite when we stayed in one back in December.... Pricey, but worth it, for us anyway. We love the walk from the hotel to the parks. No walkway at WDW can beat that one. Best part of the day.... walking that path.... into adventure!

ok laura, rub it in......... :teeth:

when i booked in january, rph was 183.20
hrh was 255.........
then plus tax for both.......times that by 4 and you can see i am trying to cut back some. this will be the last time that i stay at rhp. i am sick about not staying at hrh............

next year iwill be trying to go twice and both times will be hrh !!

i will be at disney for 11 days prior to universal. so, for a 14 day trip, i had to cut back somewhere. i will be doing 4 nights of hhn with the add ons .
pleasure island and 2 mnsshp. the bill keeps growing and growing........

i hate being on a budget this year.
next year i won't be.

now if hrh price comes down, i will switch this year if at all possible.
i bought the bealls 2 year promo PAP so i am set to go
