Ok, most of us have gone by now, some love it, others hate it at IOA. Where do you think, what do you think will happen next year?

I think it will still be at IOA but some Universal Rides open. The capasity at IOA is 32,000 right? So adding Universal could more people to pack the parks. I could see them Opening Twister, the 2 new rides and maybe a few others while having a couple houses in there and having a few houses in IOA. I don't know, but why does 5 house seem to be the magic number? Every year I have been there were 5 houses.

Good idea, but I think it'll never happen. HHN is too expensive to put on in both parks. It all boils down to money. It's not even open EVERY night in Oct.. It would have to become sold out every night for them to even consider doing two parks.

32,000 is not the capacity for IOA. Nobody should be discussing capacity numbers on here anyway.

Spoken like a true UO employee Chris...What difference does it make? Who cares what the capacity is!? This board is NOT owned by Universal Studios, who cares? With all of the other stuff that gets posted here about new rides etc...who cares if anyone knows capacity numbers....relax!

I agree with HHNFreak...and anyway, we NON-Universal employees can pretty much try to discuss anything Universal related that we choose.
It's up to you, as an employee, to know what YOU can or can't discuss in a public forum...We can't get fired for it, you can!

can we discuss capacity numbers for MYTHOS. :smooth:

or the capacity for potions of the gods for certain board members :p :teeth:

Speaking of "potions of the gods", we went to mythos one day for lunch, YUMMY, and DH and I had a couple of "potions", he had 3, I had 2, not only did it add $35 to the lunch bill:eek:   , but they seemed pretty weak, last year I had one and it went straight to my head:p , but boy did they go down easy.....

Thanks for the support MsDisney (Karen)! I can understand why Chris McFly gets bent out of shape though, I used to be in his shoes. Thank God though I don't have to worry about getting fired for discussing so callled 'classified' info. I just wanted to make a point: If you are a Universal employee, and see something here, oh well? It's ou freedom of choice to discuss whatever the heck we want! I guess we're all going to Federal Prison for discussing Universal secrets!:bounce: :bounce:

Well MsDis and MIB9's want a bottom bunk then!!!!!!:smooth:

I didnt mean to come across as over-reacting. If the media wants to find out the numbers, it's not like it's that hard. If i can make a point in my defense though: business secrecy is essential in order for a business to survive-- Im sure Coke doesnt publish their saturation in the market and make it available to Pepsi. If you all love new, better entertainment, then you have to keep the competitive nature alive.. and you can do so by keeping things a secret.

But in today's information age, keeping information secret is virtually impossible. But you are 100% right, you all have the right to discuss anything you want on this forum: numbers, secrets, whatever-- its all up to you. I wasnt getting mad.

It just kills me how, back in the day, attendance numbers were kept very private and known only to the upper-upper management of the park. Nowadays, even the guests in the park know exactly how many people are there becuase the employees disseminate that information to them through one way or another, because now all of the employees.. from supervisors to sweepers, know the attendance figures.

And BTW, who said I worked for UO anyway?

And one more thing. Who deleted their post that was at one the third post in this thread who was talking aobut capacity also? When hhnfreak posted his/hers, the other poster deleted theirs.

I'd hate to be in the top bunk. The bed would be shaking non-stop...

...because MIB would have trouble sleeping and he will toss and turn all night.

What were you thinking? :)

because MIB would have trouble sleeping and he will toss and turn all night.

MIB9's sleeps VERY soundly these days.... ;) Once he actually GOES to sleep...

He's very good about doing the laundry around here, but we sure do have aLOT of laundry!!! It would wear most anyone out, for sure!!! :)

I gotta have a top bunk, good thing you guys like a bottom bunk!!!! LOL!

And to Chris: if you weren't a UO employee you wouldn't have gotten so 'upset' about us non Uni employees talkin' bout' capacity numbers. And why do you know soooooooo much about how UO employees are disseminating attendance numbers to park guests? You're too defensive about quality etc. to be a theme park geek like the rest of us. We care about quality, but don't give a hoot about what gets discussed here, as long as it gets us FOTL access!!

What do you like Chris, top or bottom bunk! LOL
Hey man.........RELAX!!:Pinkbounc

You're right Chris.......the other guy did delete his post, it was one that posts here all the time. I guess he's another UO employee. Hey, it was not my mission to scare away the the Universal employees who post here, heck, they have some great inside helpfull info. I guess Rich Costales, Andy Keck, and Jeff Polk must be layin' the smack down on some peeps!
Hi Jeff!:Pinkbounc

I loved HHN at IOA this year. I thought Universal did a great job with the ambiance and houses. Evilution was my favorite. Having great rides open like Hulk, Spidey and DD really added to the experience this year. The Bill and Ted show was also terrific. With all that said I preferred last years event. I missed the scare zones and the parade (although I thought I wouldn't) and thought the narrow walkways created some problems with the crowds.

The two park HHN is probably a pipe dream due to costs but it would be great if they moved HHN back to the Studios next year. At least that is my vote.

OT - Anyone get to HOS at BGT this year and care to compare it to HHN?

I'm sure it will be satying at IOA but I would love to see it return to Universal....it just wasn't the same:mad:
