Well, here I am back in Lost Wages, Nevada, after having travelled 4600 miles to Orlando for HHN.

I was impressed mostly with all of the houses.

Didn't do Scarey Tales because I heard it was STINKING HOT in there.

Bill and Ted was funny the second time. So much is going on so quickly, you have to see it twice to appreciate it.
"Oh.........I've dropped my glasses!" I screamed with laughter about that one! "Eminem's melt in your mouth, not in your hands!" The Osbourn's were eff-bleep ing funny!

Glad to see the 'Rat Lady' make another appearance.

I heard that presale tickets have exceeded all expectations, and that UO is really happy. Also heard that Sat. the 5th, some house waits were 2 hrs. The 5th was suppossed to be a slower nigt too, hate to see the lines later in the month, VIP Tour is the only way to go!

The metal detectors were nice to see for everyone's safety.
I'm talkng real bona fide walk through metal detectors.

I don't know, can they set those things to be ultra sensitive, or not so? I am a flight attendant. I have a metal name badge and wings on my uniform, as well as a brass belt buckle. I pass through most U.S. airports with never getting nabbed with that metal. If I forget my maglite flashlight in my pocket (required item for a F/A by the FAA) I do get nabbed. The maglite is more dense though. Who's the expert?

We going to HHN on Wed, Oct 23. It is off peak and I was planning to try the VIP. DO you think it will be needed??? The only reason I ask is there are 4 of us and the VIP tour will be $400+

Thanks.

Patty

Is that $35 per person??

Thank.

Patty

nWo:

Does that express book provide express access to Haunted Houses and shows or only rides?

Thanks in advance,

jb

I was told that Express Pass (and front of the line privilege for on-site guests) didn't apply to HHN.

the Caretaker's Express (the express booklet) has one express pass for each attraction and house. like nWo said, it's $35 per book. it's also very possible that the books will sell out, as there are only so many books available per night. guests staying onsite get NO ACCESS with their room key. heh, i even had to turn away a media pass, as the media passes are good for houses ONLY.

You should be fine on a Wed. night. Do not attempt to whiz through the houses though any other night. The VIP pass privledges are exclusive to the Vice Pres. of Ops and his discretion. I saw the pass sheet. Even some VIP parties are NOT getting back door privledges.
There are only two revenue producing VIP Tours sold nightly, all others are media or marketing tours. The VIP tour is mostly sold out for HHN because of this. Each VIP tour will accomodate 15 peeps max.

Does anyone know what number to call to pre-purchase the Caretakers Express booklet? Is there an AP discount?

Thanks,

jb
