HHN - how young is too young??

Our son just last year got to where he can handle this type of thing and he is 16 now. DH wouldn't be able to handle it at all! I do see some younger teens and the rare tween having a blast at our scariest haunts but I think that being around 15 or 16 is about right.

Are you familiar with your local haunts? From my understanding, take several of the best and scariest in the nation and place them in a park with nowhere to hide in between and you get a good idea of what HHN is all about.

I have took my kids the 1'st time when my DS was 13 and there was nothing you can throw his way that would scare him(well Jason got him good that year),now my DD was 16 at the time. What normally takes 5min or so to go thru A house, she was thru thehouse in under 15seconds.Last year she got smart and wore A hoody to blockout the scary parts.I told her this year if she WANTS to go no hoodys or sunglasses at night on my dime anymore. She is 18 now so her choice.
My DS16 is braver then some grown-ups I have seen!!:rotfl:
