HHN how to purchase tickets?

I have ordered (but not activated) a preferred annual pass, the rest of my party have ordered 7 day passes.
We would like to do HHN on one of our park days, how do I order tickets for this?
I can't log in to the passholder site to see if discounts are available as I don't have an activated pass.
I can see Stay & Scream passes at $24.95 as an option on the HHN website but can't seem to buy them without a daytime pass.
Do AP holders need to buy the $59.95 tickets or will we be able to purchase HHN tickets when we arrive at the parks?
I'm totally confused now

I was able to get HHN's wihtout an activated AP. I would post the thread if I knew how but look for the thread " 29 0r 30 September HHN least Crowded"
This issue came up and McCraven posted some advice which prompted me to try to get the HHN tickets without an activated AP. I will quote my response on that thread after I was successful. This was from 9/8/06.

"I just called using Mcraven's advise and was able to purchase 2 tickets for 9/30 with the preferred annual pass discount even though it was not activated. Total cost for both tickets was $53.14. They are mailing me the tickets at no cost and sent me an e-mail confirmation. By the way, they mentioned they only have 25 express passes available for that night. The phone # I called was 1-888-331-3594, option 4."

Oops! I see you are from Scotland. I have no idea if 800 numbers work in Scotland. I would keeo trying any phone # you have to try to get the tickets without the activated AP. Others have posted they could not get them via phone but others have had success like me. I suppose it is very expensive to call from Scotland but I know they can't be orded on line with an AP voucher.
