HHN Houses/Scarezones Casts

How do they change between cast A and B in the houses? Do they stop the conga line and empty the entire house for a while or do subtle changes? I would assume the people who come from hidden places in the house can change without too much trouble and don't interfere with the guests but what about those always in the open? How do the actors that are strapped into/onto tables that look like their bodies are being torn apart get out with out the illusion being completely ruined? If they stop the line how long does it usually take to change out the cast? I never hear about how these operations take place.

Is there anyway to know what cast you are experiencing; I have heard on other forums people talking about which cast they liked better in certain houses.

I assume the scarezone casts just 'tap' each other out or go to designated areas that allow them to get backstage with little interruption to the guests. Although I do remember last years school children had the really cool school bus that came and let each cast out into the streets and made a presentation with it, that was quite clever. I also remember from Islands of Fear the character 'Chaos' having a double tap him out when we passed by the entrance to Island of Lost Souls. It was cool seeing both characters at once.

It is on the fly. The line will be stopped for less than a minute while the actors that require being in the middle of the house cross through. Some houses do not even stop the line you will just have an actor dart across in front of a group. My house can do a complete cast change with line cuts in under a minute. Not much is taken from the effect.

As a cast member do you see much difference between one cast and another or is that more of an audience perception? Do you stay with the same group all season or do they float back and forth?

The line never cuts off or stops, the cast just "tap" each other out (house and Scarezone) , most of the time you will never notice it.

As a TM inside the house I do see diffrences in the casts and have ones I like to see more than others.

Opening night was not on spot,alot of jump holes were empty.It was so hot in everything but the soundstage housesand evan there it was hit or miss.I just hope come this Friday that they got there gameface on!!
We will be wearing our CSW and Vualt shirts.I know it gets very hot in there,so I'm sure cast B will be hitting there marks.Cast A gotta endure alot of the heat.Not saying that A is better then B,but please no more empty spook holes!!!!!!!

Yes, there is definitely a difference in the casts and we are on a set cast. There are a few people throughout the park that will fill roles in case someone calls in or requests a night off.

Not sure which house you're in but SS does have to stop the queue for the actors in the center of the house to get to set.

I know the soundstages/scarezones/cleaver do not; but that is good to know that SS does have too. Thanks for correcting
