HHN - Friday or Sunday Night?

This is going to be my first year that i'm actually going to be able to take a vacation later in the year and FINALLY get to visit HHNs!! I'm pretty excited but still trying to plan what day to go. Will likely only have time to go one night, and would like to try to pick a night where we stand the best chance to see as much as possible. Is it likely they'll be open on Thurs. Sept. 30th (and hopefully slow with it being a Thursday)? Would the hours be the same as a weekend, or cut short? I could go any night Sept. 24-26th and/or the 30th-2rd, and would appreciate any suggestions any of the veterans could give! Thanks

Nothing is certain for this year of course but historically...opening weekend is the last Friday/Saturday in September. This year it's 9/24 & 9/25 so the first full weekend will be the following Thursday through Sunday which is 9/30 - 10/3. Off peak nights usually close at midnight and peak nights close at 2am.

Thanks for the info! If the dates follow history, would you have a suggestion which date would be a good pick for it being the least busy? Sorry i'm trying to pinpoint it so exact but it's rough trying to plan dining reservations 6 months ahead when you can't completely figure out which days you're going to be where!

I would go on Thursday 9/30 or Sunday 10/3...those are off peak nights and it's usually not as crowded the earlier you go.

We are super excited too! We will be there October 1-9. It is our first trip to Universal and HHN. We made sure to plan for October so we could do HHN. We were tired of seeing it advertised and saying "Someday we will go..."

i usually start a thread "hhn, when are you going?" in the summer.

it is a great way to connect with other homies and have a dis meet in the finnigans area.
