I'm not even sure if I can do it as our package is the "play 4 free", we have to buy a separate pass for DS12 so he's okay. If I can add the "stay and scream" for only $24.95 for the two of us, is it worth taking the chance or is it really just too intense for a 9 yeqar old? If it is I can back and put in her the HRH kids club and I can carry on with the boys. Any experienced opinions? Thanks. :) She is a gutsy theme park rider, isn't scared of anything but have not had any experiences to compare this to.

My son is 12. I wouldnt let him attend even if he wanted until 14- 15. Despite that, there were other parents who I have seen dragging thier 4, and 5 year olds crying through the festivities. Have no idea what kind of parent would think to do this. But, I have seen it. Even saw a child as young as 3, but there are few children. I dont think it is appropriate. But, this is your choice.

I wouldn't. I saw so many terrified children there last year. There are alot more kid friendly events in Orlando to take them to. SW and WDW both have great Halloween events for kids. I took my kids to both of them last year and they had a great time. I'm not taking my oldest to HHN until he is at least 14 or 15.

In 12 years of doing HHN, I cannot count the number of times parents com through with their terrified little darlings, yelling at any scaractors within a 20 yard radius "DON'T SCARE MY CHILD!!". If you don't want us to scare them, LEAVE THEM AT HOME!!! I am not going to ruin the experience for everyone else there that came to be scared. Most times I will respond (loudly) "Don't worry. I LOVE children .... ESPECIALLY WITH BAR-B-QUE SAUCE!!"

Now, if a parent, tourguide, etc. approaches me and asks quietly if I could come over and show their little one that it's all pretend, I will do that in a heartbeat. That can oftern allow the child to at least tolerate the night.

Thanks everyone we'll spend the money on cocktails/mocktails at the pool instead. I certainly don't want her to "tolerate" the night.
