HHN find homies with your dates

Mac, I was looking around in Wolf's Forum, and just found out about the first house. Saw that link to hhn site. That picture on the left scared me real good! Oh boy. I wonder what I got myself into to. :lmao:

Thanks, Mac- I reposted with a photo. (Did I just actually figure out how to download and post a photo all on my own? I am scaring myself a bit as this is too computer literate for me! Major, major step for me!!!)

Thanks for organizing the guest book!

We will be visiting September 27-30. Plan on visiting HHN on 9/29 but may also attend 9/28 with the frequent fear pass if no APH discounts are available for those dates. This will be DS15 and my second HHN. We are bringing hubby/dad for first time since we kept calling him last year during the event to tell him how much fun it was! Nieces and nephew from Tampa may be joining us.

My struggle is whether to get the Express passes for Friday or Saturday night. We could save $90 on the three of us if we get them for Friday night vs Saturday but I am concerned they will still be working out the kinks on opening night. Good thing I have a few months to continue to obsess over this.

you're slacking off mac ;)

the AP discounts have already been posted here

well, last time i checked it wasn't there.........:rolleyes1
when i called them the other day, the dude told me early july right before the fourth.......

glad you and dishappy posted them here.

i'm ready to buy.

Mac, another question from the clueless one. Where do you find the tour prices, like the vip, rip tours. I don't see them listed on the website. I can be overlooking it this time of night, however;. Do you really think its worth doing one of them? I read the other night, that someone who took the VIP tour. Did not have to wait, and most houses he was able to see twice, is this true??

The clueless HHN Oct24&25 2007 Homie.

i know about the vip/rip tours because i took a tour from last year.
i called them as i have the number but also sent them a request by email.

the site will go up sometime this week. they are working out glitches.
there are 6 of us going on oct 7th, i would love for more of you to join us.

the dates will be released when the site goes public. i had the schedule before for this season but it may be changed due to working out something on the side of the tour company. i'll post the site when i see it come up.

the tour is from 7:00 to 11:00 pm on weekends. it cost $125 per person and each group is limited to no more than 12 people.
you go ahead of the line for the houses and reserved seating for bill and ted's show you don't need to buy the express pass for the night you are booked on the tour. you do have to have the hhn ticket to get into the park though. that is additional to the price of the rip tour.

unmask the horror has 2 different tours this year. it is done during the daytime. i'm doing that one also, hopefully on columbus day.

what other info do you need and i'll post it here.

andrea, do you have any other questions also?

faindrops, it is up to the group that you are in to determine what you will see and do on the tour. if your group wants to do all the houses and scare zones, the majority rules then.
yes, some groups do the houses twice.
i always do houses to see the A team and the B team in action.

i think it will be worth it for me this year. i'm going solo and can swing it $- wise.
since i'll go on a sunday, i won't be buying the ep of about $27

i have been doing hhn since 2000 and attend at least 3 nights in a row.
the tour is worth it when the parks are totally packed. you have no waits.

i would prefer to do the tour on a saturday but it is not offered on that day when i go this year.

change your dates and go with me......:rolleyes1 i promise not to scream.

you too andrea !

Mac, believe you me. I would love to go with you! But, my cousin, and I have already asked for our days off from work. So, we have to stick to OCT24-28th. To add, to why I would rather go on your dates. I heard someone referring to hellweek, on wolf's site and of course clueless me asked when, and what it was. Someone replied that it was Oct 24th -28th. Basically the time when alot of kids get off from school. Just what I need. A more than packed HHN, and UNI. :sad2: On the dates, I chose. :confused3

I am trying to remain postive. Next time I get to go. I will watch the dates, you go.

Thank you for taking the time to post, this thread to begin with. For being more than helpful, and patient! I will run this info by my cousin to see if she would like to take the tour.

Oh, I usually jump. I get very scared. But, try to act tough. When the scareactors look at me, I just smile. I have been caught out there, and have yelled a lil I guess. However, I am terrified, of Leatherface, & Jason. Wsith a capitol T!! I use to have night terrors about these guys. I hope, I can make it through a night. lol:rotfl: :rotfl:

from what i know, there won't be a hell week this year as the school break is not at the same time hhn will be open on the third week/wk days.

i looked at the calendar and pulled up the school districts.
i don't see it over lapping this year.

i avoid the 20th to the end of the month for hhn.
too many people.

things are fined tuned throughout the month so i do miss out on changes in the houses and bill and ted show.

it's a toss up on which weeks/wkends are best.

crowds are not as bad the second weekend of hhn from what i have experienced. every saturday is so crowded..no matter which one you attend.

Mac

Thanks for all the info!

I doubt I'll ever personally go to HHN -- Just send my DH and 1 DS -- I just don't get the thrill -- I'm a wuss.

Definitly our US adventure is turning into a big $$ project -- Which means we won't get there until 2008 -- But now I got my DH hooked & his heart set on HHN. Planning Columbus Day week 2008 & I'll try to budget in VIP tour too! DH birthday is October & it will be a great present!

My DS will be going on 13 then -- perfect age for my DH to enjoy it even more -- ya know DS won't sleep a wink :scared1: but certainly will put up that tough guy front. Will be a great bonding experience for them -- I'll just do all the planning.

Thanks again!

Just signed the guestbook - we're from the UK and going on Oct 6th. I'm taking my OH as a birthday treat and he is really looking forward to it.

Now just have to wait for the RIP tour to come available ... :thumbsup2

i'm waiting to this weekend to order.
i'm going to order the frequent fear pass for the thursday and sunday..
i need to find something out before i order the ep.

hey Beep, i'll be there the 6th also !!

Excellent!

I wish I'd waited before I bought the tickets. I bought the one night ticket, and now wish I'd gone for the frequent fear pass. I didn't know they did that - doh! We are spending the last week of our holiday in Miami but would have been able to go to HHNfor atleast a couple of more nights.

Oh well, I'll know for next time
