Does express sell out for HHN? Specifically - for Friday September 28th.
We have ROF with express but our friends just have the ROF with the RIP tour Saturday and express Thursday. Not sure they will be going on Friday so would rather they wait to buy it if that would be OK. Thanks!

I wouldn't think THAT early in the month Express Pass will sell out..... but who knows....

I'll be there on that date! Oh boy!!!! :cool1:

Cheers!

compared to the rest of the HHN period, end of september usually does not have large crowds.

i have been with peeps during the columbus day hhn period, that bought the epp around 8 pm at the park.

each year is different.
we won't know more on how the crowd levels are until after 9/21.

on the other hand........
i don't think this year will be any different from the past years as the ROF is being sold again this year.

the first 10 nights of the ROF is valid as the hhn ticket.
add in the epp with that ROF and it is still a good price.

because of the ROF, i don't think UO expects crazy, park filled completely, crowds.
if they did, they wouldn't offer that special 10 day pass for hhn.

If it's helpful, we attended on September 23rd, 24th and 29th last year and there were Express Passes available through the start of the event all 3 nights.

Thanks everyone. :)

Mfarquar, how did you find the crowds for your dates last year?

I'm sure they factor in the amount they get per person from drinking too. Many people with ROF probably go more nights than they would if it wasn't available and overall the park probably takes in more money.

It's probably less about crowds and more about revenue - timing is probably just due to the fact the crowds are less so having the same people frequent won't over crowd like it might later in the month.
