HHN Dates 2010 - 1st November?

I know they don't usually announce dates until May but I am trying to plan my dates for next year and wondered what the chances of them holding a HHN on 1st November as they did this year, or do you think 31st October will be their last date?

HHN has only been extended past 10/31 once in recent times so I would plan on 10/31 being the end again next year.

when does HHN usually start - i am planning on arriving in orlando on 9/25/10 and plan on going to HHN Oct 1st - i am right with the dates or do i need to switch and come down a week later?

HHN usually starts the last weekend (Friday & Saturday) of September.

You can pretty much count on 10/31 being the last day since it falls on a Sunday in 2010.

You should be fine. However, sometimes this weekend can be a little on the busy side so I would certainly look into saving up to purchase the Express Pass.

If Halloween falls on a Sunday then it will definitely be the last day,I know I went to a HHN like a year or two ago on a Sunday that I think was Nov.2nd.

As an addition to the above question about the date does anybody have any information about next years event?

I know it's early but - my fiancé and I are getting married in Orlando next November, and after seeing what they did for the California HHN this year we're all but set to book to arrive in time for Halloween weekend.

Halloween is kind of a big deal for us - the film is pretty much one of my favourite ever, I love the series, and seeing the house recreation for the California Universal HHN looked amazing. In addition to this we've never spent a Halloween in America and as sad/daggy as it sounds I'd love to spend one there, especially our last as single/engaged in the build up to the wedding. Hard to explain I guess, I'm a little sad like that.

Although information is not known yet, Universal created "Shadows from the Past" in HHN 19 as a hint towards the theme for this year. Rumor has it that many icons and famous characters from previous events are going to come together as a celebration for its 20th year of fear.

... which looks good to me as an indication even if Halloween/Michael Myers hasn't really been featured in the previous incarnations of the event.

There's hardly anything online about whether the Myers House in Cali was a success or not - would whether it was or not effect whether or not they were to implement it in Orlando?
