We went on 10/26 and were fortunate enough to get the "sold out" express passes since we were at RPR. I also love the discount we recieved on our tickets for being AP holders. This was our first experience and will def not be our last. I don't have a full on review of each house or scare zone, but suffice it to say, we had an amazing time.
First off, let me say that I thought we were in for the typical rude, drunk, obnoxious, entitled, disrespectful jerks that unfortunately tend to go to events like this. We were pleasantly suprised at how well behaved most people were. For an "adult" event, we found most younger people to be respectful of others around them. I guess it's the cynic in me, because we've had some crappy experiences at IOA in the past. Sure there was some smoking in non designated areas, and a couple of bafoons that got a little out of control, but nothing that was crazy.
For those of you that say Hallowscreem is better than HHN, I honestly want whatever you are smoking. There is NO comparison at all. HHN goes down as one of the best nights we've ever had in orlando. We've had 20+ trips in the past 4 years, so that speaks for itself. $10 is expensive for a pint glass w/two shots w/rockstar? Refills were $7? That's pretty much on par for most bars/clubs and I could walk around a theme park and even take it in line with me. The staff was absolutely amazing, and the themeing/costuming/effects were mindblowing. This was also on what's been said to be the busiest night so far this year. We will be back next year, and the years after... Thanks for everyones help!
