HHN 2005 website up/ plus tickets for sale

I need info on Stay & Scream. I am staying at PBH and have already purchased my 5 day park passes. How do I get Stay and scream for 10/23 and how much should it be?

The experts can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that Stay and Scream just refers to the ability to remain in the park between closing and HHN. From what I've read, those people in the park who also have a ticket to HHN are herded to a designated holding area while the park is cleared & then they get an early start on HHN before the outside gates are reopened.

So, to answer your question, the cost would be park admission plus HHN admission as far as I know.

That's pretty much spot on! Good job! :teeth:

You should actually be able to upgrade from regular admission for less than the normal HHN price if you do Stay & Scream. I've never done it, so I don't know the exact price.

Thanks, phamton, that's really good news for me ! Now can someone tell me what FF passes went for last year? - I'm assuming that's the pass that gets you FOTL once for each house and/or ride through the night. And do the FF passes have to be ordered in advance or can they be purchased the day before? And along the same lines - can AP tickets always be purchased up to the day of HHN as long as it's not sold out, or do I need to order in advance to get the discount? Don't know why I'm finding this so confusing :confused3 ! - TIA for helping me get it straight - the kids (16 - 28) are really excited about this - they'll be going on our last night, Sun the 9th.

FF passes if Frequent Fear Passes and allows you to attend the non-peak nights.
Express Plus is what you'd want for FOTL once for each house. They have a limited amnt, so in advance would be best. I'm also curious of we can purchase at the gates and receive our AP discount? (what little discount it is for saturdays)

Frequent Fear passes can be purchased anytime, even at the gates. You can get your annual pass discount both online and at the gates for any tickets whether they be Frequent Fear or just regular HHN tickets. There is no discount for the express pass with annual pass though. Express pass often does sell out before the night you are going, especially if it is a peak night so it is better to buy them in advance if you can.

As far as stay and scream, if you have a park admission for the day and go to Guest services while you are there you can upgrade those passes to go to HHN that night. It gives you a little discount on your HHN tickets for that night only or at least it did last year. I may be wrong but I don't think you can purchase Stay and Scream online though. You'd have to do it while you are in the park as the discount is tied to the day pass while you are at the park.

I Am Confused. I Am Staying At Hard Rock On 9/30. I Am A Ap Holder
I Paid 59 Plus Change For 4 Tickets For The 30th Opening Night. Can I Add On Express Plus Or Because I Am Staying On Property I Just Show My Key?

I don't think your key will work with HHN since it's a "hard ticket" event. Everyone has to pay for the EP + regardless of where you're staying. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. But you can purchase the EP + at the gates.

The express passes aren't for sell yet. There is a rumor that they might not even sell them on peak nights but who knows. The Frequent Fear (not Flyer) pass has always been very close in price to the peak night prices. Last year, it was only $15 more.

Sundays usually aren't near as busy as Friday or Saturday.

My one concern or question is there doesn't seem to be a different price for peak nights as opposed to non-peak nights. That seems a bit odd.
Last year there was no discount for a single non-peak night either...remember???

i am thrilled i found this thread. i have been posting on the other hhn thread.

this will be my 4 hhn. i spend a bundle to fly to orlando from chicago just for this hard ticket event.

i buy my hhn tickets and the express passes together for the discount.
last year the express passes cost me $21 non peak/$30 peak night.

i purchased by phone to get the deal. the few days prior i had bought the 5 day regular park pass and the universal employee told me i could get the discount if i purchased them all together.
i cancelled the 5 day park pass then rebought it with the hhn and express passes for the three nights. i got a discount on the hhn tickets because of that.
this year i am waiting for the express to come out before i buy tickets for october.

stay and scream is great. any park goer that has the hard ticket can stay in the designated area and start their evening prior to official opening.

i did see that hrh sold hhn tickets in the lobby two years ago. if no tickets are available, they seem to be able to come up with hhn ones.

i read one post that asked a question but now (blonde moment) can't think of it.
will be back to post later.

i love these threads. i learn so much from them and i can share my experiences with others that ask.

After re-reading this.. I now realize that you meant peak & non peak for the FOL pass, not the actual event pass. Last year the price was the same for the event whether it was a peak or non-peak night...I think, or am I going batty in my old age?

i just got off the phone with ticket sales for universal.
the employee told me it wil take over another week to have the public buy the hhn tickets over the phone.

system has to have the program before sales/phone can begin.

express passes not available yet either she told me.

You are correct, you cannot use your Room Key for HHN for Express.

I would not wait until the day of the event to purchase the Express HHN tickets. Like another poster said, there are a limited amount of those and they sell out VERY quickly. Your best bet is to call and order them in advance.

i bought the hhn tickets for three nights and also bought the express passes for the same three nights.

wow, prices have really gone up from last year.

i tried to do the add on for stay and scream but didn't work.
i called direct ticket sales and was told i had to call or go through the universal web site for the discount.

last few years if you bought a multi day pass, you would get a discount on the stay and scream hhn tickets. if i wait i could have bought them later in august and saved $50.

didn't want to chance it so i bought now without any discounts.

hope you all get your tix. be prepared to pay a lot this year !!

i think i spent my children's inheritance this morning..........

Good lord! $181.80 for two tix with express passes on 10/16 - this better be worth it!

how about $304.36 just for one person for second weekend of 3 nights plus express........................

good thing i am leaving my sons at home and going solo.........

i hear ya about the costs.........
