HHN 2005 website up/ plus tickets for sale

hey phamtom we must have been typing at the same time , you can delete mine. also do you get a discount on ff passes if you are a aph?

I can't delete as I'm not a mod here. I say leave yours up because I am sure many people will be looking to find the info. two threads won't hurt.

About FF and APs:

I am sure there will be a discount for all tickets including FF with your AP. Last year, it was a few weeks later before they anounced the AP discount though.

well, you could/should be.......if you wanted to with all that information you give out so generously! Thanks for the info.

Call me cheap but if the AP rates do not have a better discount than the FL resident rates, I will not be going this year. Last year was very crowded (went on a Thursday too) & did not even get into every house! I will not pay $52+! Sorry to sound so down on HHN, but I think the price is a bit steep!

Thanks for the heads up! No info available on express passes though...anyone have any idea what's going on with that?

We are planning to visit Sat. 10/8 (Columbus Day weekend) and I'm not sure if I should just grab the tickets now or wait & get the tickets and Express Pass together.

Anyone have any advice?

Last year the AP discount was better than the FL resident rate.

Mart, they won't sell out this early even though it is a holiday weekend. I'd personally wait but really do what ever you feel comfortable with. You can always order them now and then get the express passes later. I'm not sure there is any advantage of ordering them together except maybe saving a little on shipping.

OK, thanks for the guidance!

I thought I had read something somewhere (don't remember where - one of the many HHN message boards) that there was some sort of discount last year when you bought the tickets & express passes together. If there is, I'd obviously like to take advantage of it, but not at the risk of getting shut out of that date.

I think, since you don't feel there will be a sell out right away for that weekend, I'll give it a while & see if there are any ticket option updates. If not, I'll buy the tix when I get uncomfortable waiting any longer & just get the express passes separately like I did last year.

Thanks again!

Ok, I would like to know something. I heard about stay and scream. For guests who already have admission to the park. And want to stay for hhn. Where can I get those rates for tickets. As I already have passes to the parks, and was planning to buy tickets to stay for hhn considering there is a discount. I mean to pay over 120.00pp does not seem like a deal to me. I also wanted to to get express tickets. But, if I will not be getting a discount. I may have to rethink hhn altogether.I was so excited to hear the tickets were out. But, I mean 120.00pp for a day? :earseek: . Someone, please say it isnt so? Tell me there is a way for me to get a discount for stay and scream. Please :bitelip:

Agree the price is more this year.
$59.75 regular price.
$52.75 Florida resident.

Last year, my ticket was only $30 with the APH rate, that's the one I'm waiting for. Seems it will be about $40 this year.

I wanted to treat my big kids and my nephews to HHN while we were there - 6 or 7 of them in all. I will be staying back at the hotel that night to watch the little ones for them. Anyone know if I can use my AP discount to buy their tickets if I'm not attending? I will be in the park with them that day until they kick me out. Also, how many tickets can you buy with one AP? I agree - at $60 per ticket, I'll have to wait for the AP prices to come out !

You can buy up to 6 tickets with your AP discount. You don't need to be going with them.

I agree, not paying $52+ and I've gone the past 4 years now.
I can manage the $40, as that isn't much more than usual, though there are 5 of us going, stay and scream, Oct 1st so going to wait until I get there to buy, figured that day won't sell out.

I have gone the last 3 & there are 3 of us. I will wait & see. Last year I really didn't like the fact that it was both parks! There was just tooooo much walking. When we were in the IOA side, we managed to get into the houses before the lines were crazy, but because the US side opened later & by then every one that was there from IOA opening (+ those who were just entering) rushed over to the US side making it unbearable there! Waiting 90 minutes for online for a house isn't my idea of "fun". My other grip is the express pass. If they don't allow the onsite guest to use FOL, they shouldn't be selling them either. That made the lines longer too! Yes, I know others like the fact that they are sold.

I'm confused - can we buy the express pass now too? when does that go on sale? where do we go to buy that? and why does the one day admission look to be the same price as the frequent flier pass which is for several days? I was planning on going 10/16 - is sunday night a busy night?

The express passes aren't for sell yet. There is a rumor that they might not even sell them on peak nights but who knows. The Frequent Fear (not Flyer) pass has always been very close in price to the peak night prices. Last year, it was only $15 more.

Sundays usually aren't near as busy as Friday or Saturday.

My one concern or question is there doesn't seem to be a different price for peak nights as opposed to non-peak nights. That seems a bit odd.

thanks for the answers - if I buy the frequent flier pass, can I still by the express?

Yes, you can buy the express passes with FF. But it is Frequent Fear not Flyer.
