Hhn 19 website has been updated!!

I knew Universal would'nt let us down.I love when they teas us!!
The latest puts a new twist on FINGER FOOD!!!!:lmao:

I know but I was just reading about some the past things they did Islands of adventure for the Jurrisc park attraction and the thing that nmost piped my intrested was thaey did Maxium Carnage maze based on Spiderman villain Caranage and its much better at night

It is, but unfortunately when IoA was built Universal had to sign some sort of contract disallowing the use of their roller coasters after 10 pm (I think) due to noise issues. Most people do not know this and I can personally attest to the fact that there were a number of very dissatisfied customers the year they did Maximum Carnage. There was talk of doing both parks the following year, but after the negative responses they were getting from guests I think they scrapped the idea of ever doing it in IoA again.

Would the same apply to the Studios, will Rip Ride Rocket be able to run during HHN?

One clarification, though. I think they had it in IoA for 2 years, seems like it was #s14-15.

Scratch that, my wife just reminded me that I wasn't able to go to one of them, and that was the time they used both parks. So it seems like 13-15 involved IoA. At any rate, my understanding of why they stopped was due to the issue with the coasters.

hhn 13 was at ioa only.
remember the foam they used?
(in marvel area)

i doubt hhn will return to ioa.
it is smaller than the studios side.

doing hhn 13 was good but the masses of people there made it feel a lot more crowded than it ever has been at the studio side.

it was difficult getting to houses due to the crowds.

13 was Maximum Carnage, right? I remember that because it was the first one done at IoA. I'm brain-dead, because I did go to 14 and I believe that was the one that included both parks - that was when we noticed the coasters shutting down, we were drinking heavily and riding the DD continuously to see who would, um, make it. They cut us off!

I missed 15 and I believe it was the last one at IoA.

Yes...HHN 15 was split between IOA and the Studios but the majority of the houses were at IOA. I think there were four houses in the soundstages that year. That was the year Hurricane Wilma's rains came through so we left early that night.

I was there that night! We were all drenched, looked like we'd been swimming! The scare zones were pretty pointless that night!

They need to come up with a great banner ad so the sissies on the other side of the board can whine about it and get it taken away like last year

I would ask if you're serious, but I recently found out the hard way that you are.

IMO, last year was the absolute best HHN to date.

We were in line for The Bone Collectors at the Discovery Center and before we went into the house, it wasn't raining but by the time we came out it was pouring! We did two other houses and took off.

What are you guys talking about?

Last year Universal had advertisements on the DIS (like the one at the top of this page) showing Bloody Marys face with her freaky white eyes. This caused (mock?) outrage among many of our Disney neighbours on this site, with people saying the couldn't even look at the page.

Due to their complaints the ad was replaced with one deemed more 'suitable' for this forum.

I read that some group in Orlando pretty much tried to do the same thing with the billboards last year.

Wimps.
