It can be pretty hard to get summer reservations at the 7 month window. Be persistent, it might happen!

It is difficult to get HHI at 7 months if you are trying for sun-thursday. If you are flexible it is possible(we did once), but there are more 2 bedrooms so you have a better chance at getting that. We added on in 2002 at HHI just to get the 11 month window for summer. We had gone in april and during xmas week and had not had a problem @ 7 months, but summer months are another story. Give it a try and there is a chance you will be successful if flexible. We made our June 09 resevations in July 08...we are set!

We just returned from HHI for Labor Day weekend (Aug 29-Sep 2). We had a studio. I had no problem booking at teh 7 month window. Do you have to have a 1BR? IF not, the studios are plenty big. Hope this helps. You'll love HHI.

Labor day weekend is not as difficult as June(late), July and early August. Alot of schools start before labor day and most people try not to use their points on weekends(very high points). So you had two things in your favor. I did get August 13-16 2007 at 7 months(Sun-Wed) but only after trying from last week in June with a great CM going week by week until there was a 3 night stay anytime sun-thurs. So there are ways to increase your chances of getting July-Aug: getting a 2 bedroom is easier, being flexible on dates, staying weekends because most owners don't want to use the high points. Just know if it very difficult for the summer months-not impossible.
