I got another offer from Disney VISA for the el cheapo HH rates for a 2BR in Feb. I don't want to go if it's too cold. The avg temp is 60 acc to web sites.

I assume that would mean the avg high is about 70 and the avg low is about 50.

What has been your experience?:sunny:

Do you have to respond to the offer through the Bank One Visa or through WDWTC?

Thanks!

PS I think the temps are probably pretty cool, but not COLD to Northerners!

In February, average high temps at HH are 61 and average low temps are 42. (January is 59/38, March is 67/46, December is 61/39) Ocean temp will be about 54.

There may be days when the temps are in the 70's , but also some where the temps are in the 50's in February.

There are still lots of activities available, but don't count on the weather being warm enough to enjoy water activities without a wet-suit.

Enjoy!

We took advantage of the $99/two bedroom rate and going in February. I figure anywhere is better than central PA in the winter!!!

We went last year in late February and the weather was COLD! Never got above 50 degrees, rain, and windy all week. Even DH, who loves to golf, complained it was too cold when he was golfing. The previous year we'd gone 2 weeks later, in early March and the weather was very warm and pleasant. That being said, if we hadn't already made our ressies, including airplane, when we got that Disney VISA offer, we'd be chancing it in February this year. I do remember people last year telling us that the week before we were there in February was much warmer and we hit it on an unusually cold week. Like I said, for that offer, I'd definitely chance it again if I could.

Sounds a little nippy. 60. That would be good for biking. And a trip to Savannah or Charleston. I realize there is great variability that time of year. Hit or miss. But hot chocolate in Big Murggie's and the "Private Affair" dinner would be more than mere consolations.

I'm at work now, but as I recall the offer is good as long as you pay with a Disney VISA card.
