HHI requires 14 day stay? Say it's not so.

I was just looking at the DVC website (not the members website) for Hilton Head resort and I put in some dates to check availability. I got a message that this resort must be booked for 14 days. Is that really true? I hope not cause we can't do a 14 day vacation. Thanks for any info.
 
you can stay less than 14 days-DS just returned from one week stay and I helped my folks (members) book their 10 day trip in october. We are staying in August for only a few days ourselves. Availability was hit or miss depending on dates and units. You'll be fine.princess:

I just tried it myself and was able to get it to give me a price for a 7 day vacation so I am not sure what you did.

Remember, this site is for those that want to book HH as a cash guest. It has nothing to do with booking HH using a DVC membership.
 
Thanks everyone. This is the website I was on that said 14 days. It wasn't the DVC member site because I didn't have to log in.

I put in dates for a 1 or 2 night stay and it gave me a quote. Must be some kind of glitch.
 
Your URL came out with parts missing. This one?

As someone else said, that's a cash-booking site, not points.

But I put in Oct 21 through Nov 1, and wasn't shown that sort of message. I've put in all sorts of other dates (before and after those dates) and while I've gotten the message that there are no rooms available, I haven't gotten the 14 day thing (even over xmas).

Could it have been a message that said a maximum of 14 days? I know I've gotten that message when I've accidentally entered an incorrect date (like an October 2010 check in but an October 2011 check out).
 
Or could it have been a message that said it had to be booked 14 days out from the dates you requested?

Now we'd love to stay 14 days at HHI, but have only stayed a week! Very funny glitch.
