HHI New Years

We will be staying at HHI over New Years. My DF wanted to set up the trip for one more family vacation before grandkids started college. DM passed away July 07 and DF is really looking forward to spending time with family. One DB backed out, eventhough we have offered to pay for everything. He got married last week to a woman he has not known long but wants the holidays to help meld the two families. DF is upset but doesn't want to spoil the trip. I know we will have a good time but will miss three DNs and DB and DSIL. We will be spending time playing board games and walking on the beach. Does anyone know if there is anything planned at HHI for New Years? Does anyone have ideas as to something very special to do with DF? HHI was DF & DMs favorite resort. Thanks for suggesions.
