I've see folks mention that there is a low country boil and a pirate party at HHI. What nights are those typically on or where would I find details about those at? Getting to the point where I'm trying to plan a loose iterniary and would like to possibly incorporate those in.

Thanks!!

I was just cruising around the HHI Facebook page and saw the flyer for the Lowcountry Boil. Looks like it's Thursdaya from 5:30-7:30 pm, and costs $27.95 per adult and $13.95 per child. Looks like fun!image.jpg

The Low Country Boil only goes until May or something. After that they do the BBQ for summer.

I called this weekend to ask when I should book the dolphin cruises and such - FYI they only book 2 weeks out. Anyways, while I had the super nice guy on the line I asked about the low boil and the pirate party with bbq. The low boil runs thru Memorial day and then BBQ picks up after. Both are always on Tuesdays - or at least what he told me.

I'm sad to hear that they are only doing one or the other now. When our family went a few years ago, the BBQ was on Tuesday night at the resort and the low country boil was on Thursday night at the beach house. Both were a lot of fun, but the low country boil was my favorite by far!

Hi. I own DVC and also a three bedroom timeshare at Waterside by Spinnaker in Hilton Head.

That being said, when we are at our timeshare this August, would I be able to go see the DVC resort and would I be able to book this dinner for our family?

Thank you.

The dinner can only be booked by registered guests of the resort.

Sometimes we are in a shopping area around the DVC resort. Would we be able to go in and take a look around?

You can buzz in at the gate and ask the front desk if you can look around. You can also park over at Shelter Cove and walk over using the walkway by the marina.

Shelter Cove was the "shopping area" I was referring to since I didn't know if many would understand how close it is.
The last time I saw the walkway, it looked like I couldn't get all the way in to the DVC HHI. If this is the case, I will walk over there in August.
Thank you very much!
