HHI Internet ?

Just wondering if HH has broadband connection for the internet. Unfortunately, I may have to put in a days work while there. Then again, if I've gotta work, not a bad place to have to work from. TIA

The last time we were at the HH resort (Thanksgiving 2006), there was not yet broadband in the villas. However, we were told that itis coming, but they didn't know exactly when.

Our choices were dialup or going to one of the wifi spots at the resort. The most comfortable for me was at Big Murggie's Den (near the registration desk). Another option might be one of the wifi spots on the island, like Mellow Mushroom or Atlanta Bread Company.

In some villas, you are able to get a weak signal, I believe from someplace near the marina, but I wouldn't want to depend on it.

When are you going? Please report on the broadband status when you get back! (Or while you're there! )

I read on another post that there is also wi-fi at the Beach House and Community Hall (next to the main pool) My dd just got a lap top so I had to find out where she'll be hanging out

It's free if you bring your computer to Big Murggie's, Community Hall, or the Beach House -- or of course, if you are able to pick up a stray signal from somewhere else. Not sure how they are planning to do it when they have wi-fi available in the villas.
