We are thinking of taking a short trip to HHI for the first time. Can anyone tell me what activities are available during this time? We have 5 kids 10,9, 6, 5, and 2. We want them to have something to do, but we don't want the excitment of Disney World. Will there be enough open during this time of the year to keep us entertained and fed, lol?

I tried using the search to find some info on HHI, but no luck. I'd appreciate any info that might help us plan a winter trip. Thanks!

The resorts recreation staff is wonderful. All of the usual activities will be available - with the possible exception of some of the water-related avctivities. There are a number of activities for children of all ages including kids night out as well as lots of craft projects. B'Lou Crabbe offers several great inside activities (magic, stories, music) for all ages (adults too!) and there will still be a campfire.

Hilton Head itself has lots of restaurants - there are 6 within a 10 minute walk of the resort - and there will be lots of shopping opportunities too. You might want to consider renting bikes - the island has miles of paved bike trails. There is a performing arts center right near the resort and there are a number of galleries nearby.

The weather may be cool - but the pools are heated. I'm sure you'll find lots to do. :)

Have a great stay!
