HHI from Jacksonville

Has anyone done the drive from Jacksonville airport to HHI? The flights to Charleston and Savannah are outrageous, but maybe it is worth the extra $$.

It's not a bad drive... but unless you get a late flight home, you might want to get a hotel the night before.

MapQuest shows about 2:40 and 165 miles from Airport to Airport. Most of the trip is on I95.

I will be doing this one week from Thursday - yippeee - and have done it about four times. Much easier than connecting. Also they have some nice hotels near the airport that we stay at on our last night.

We drive that trip about once a year. It's around 2.5 hours driving time.
