HHI Building Question

I'm getting ready to book a stay for HHI and I was curious to see which buildings people thought were better than others.

I'll be traveling with my DH and DS who will be 10 months.

Originally I thought that it might be nice to request the lodge (Bldg # 11), but now I wonder if it would be better to request a building near the pool.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Also is it far from the main building to the pool and if so, are there parking spots near the pool?

HHI resort is so small anywhere you stay is a nice walk.

The lodge is where you first comeo n the island...so it is also closer to walk over to Shelter Cove from there.

But we have stayed everywhere at the resort. When our kids were younger we would try to stay by the pool in case someone had to go back to the room.

My suggestion to either request a buidling around the pool or a building with a marsh view.....very peaceful !

We've only been once, but we loved it so much we added on points within 3 months of our trip! We stayed in Building 12 in a 1 BR (close to the lodge). It was an easy walk to the pool, and we were close to the bridge that led to the Shelter Cove restaurants. I remember on the karaoke day at the pool thinking I was glad our villa wasn't too close to the pool because DH was taking a nap. It was probably very noisy for the people located close to the pool. With a little one, this is something to consider. The resort is fairly small, and it's not a long walk from one side to the other. Plus I found it so relaxing and tranquil to just stroll around the resort. You and your baby would probably like the quiet walks, too. Have fun!!!
