HHI bike rentals

We are heading to HHI in 10 days, has anyone used any of the islands many bike rental companies? I was looking online and the prices are a bit lower for a weekly rental then renting them from the resort. Most say the include free delivery and pick up. Any suggestions or recommendations? Thanks!

Have used several of them. Never had a problem. I generally go with whomever has the best deal in the tourist magazine

I think you must be there around the same time we are going. We are getting soooo excited! I just booked my bike rentals thru Lowsea and booked beach umbrella and chairs with them as well. They seemed to have the best rates $23/wk for bikes with baskets(use the online coupon for $5 off/wk), Helmets $3/wk, and 2 chairs with umbrella for $50/wk. Maybe we will see you there!

We rented bikes from Hilton Head Outfitters in Palmetto Dunes, which is the resort where we were staying. The cost was $35 a bike per week and we got a 10% discount through the townhouse owner's management co. I'm sure we could have gotten a better deal, but I did not know ahead of time if it would be too hot for biking so I just rented at the closest location. Plus, by picking the bikes up ourselves we could verify we got the right size for each of our kids. They do deliver an pick up, by the way; we were just so close that we didn't use the service.
