If you can be flexible with dates and/or room size, there is availability. The resort has only 21 Studios and the same number of 1BR villas - these are all lockoff units. There are 5 GVs and the remaining 76 villas are all dedicated 2BRs.

Call to see what is available at 7 months and use the waitlist.

We had no problem. We got a 1-BR for 6 days the week prior to and including Labor Day weekend at 7 mo. I did call every day (first thing in the morning) to get each day in the reservation though.

Most people would not consider that a summer reservation. Having lived in MA, I know your "summer" doesn't end till Labor Day weekend, but in most other areas of the country, summer ends when the kids go back to school. Some places are already back in school and our kids go back next week. Indeed, on the HH points chart, they stop the summer season at August 27.

4 Summers in a row I have been successful in booking a 2 bedroom day by day at the 7 month window. The past 2 summers I have booked TWO 2 bedrooms at the 7 month window.

Usually the week before or the week after the 4th of July week.

It is not impossible,but it is difficult for sun-thurs from June-July. We tried first time in 2002 and was lucky to get 4 nights in 2bdroom. Next year, we could not get any thing so we bought add-on there to have 11 month window for summer. We decided in Jan to try for summer(so much for having the 11 month window, if you don't plan early enough)so this year we got 1bdroom for august12-15 and we had a great cm in members services, who looked for any sun-thurs 3 nights from june 6;he went week by week until we got the august dates. Previously, June and July have been very humid and hot, but this year and last, year we lucked out with 80's and less humidity..great beach weather. It is harder to get studios as there are fewer of them but we always get at least a 1bdroom; 2bdrooms are the easiest.
