HHI - any preference on villa buildings?

This summer will be our first visit to HHI (last DVC resort to visit! Well, before they open more ) Looking at the map of the resort I was wondering if there is a general preference of location? I know it would only be a request and not a guarantee but just was curious if there was a preferred area? Thanks in advance!

Depending on your villa type, some views are limited.

View options are Marsh View, Pool view and Island View.

16 of the Studios and 1BRs (all lock-off) are in Buildings 11/12. Those two buildings have Marsh Views of the broad Creek Marsh which rises and falls with the tides and home to a wide variety of birds, plus Dolphin, sea otters, mink, manatee and even the occasional alligator (not very common in the marsh though).

Buildings #23, 25 & 26 have pool view balconies.
Buildings #11,12,13,14,15,17,18,22,24,27,29 and 31 have Marsh (Broad Creek) views.
Buildings #16,19,20,21,28 & 30 have interior (Island) views of nothing in particular (mostly wooded areas and other buildings).

Thanks! We have a dedicated 2 BR - any idea what buildings they could be in?

Dedicated 2BRs are in all buildings except 11/12 (which are the only buildings with an elevator). The view options for 2BRs are Marsh, Pool and Island.

We were in 31 last year and loved it, on the map it seems like it would be far from everything but it's really not. It was close to parking and had great marsh views.

This is exactly what I was getting ready to say. Love Building 31 for a 2-BR! Make sure to request top floor.

I know of 2 families in building 31 who were able to see Dolphins, one on the first floor. Buildings 27 and 13 are popular for their views. Buildings 14 and 15 supposedly have extra large balcony, but they overlook a wooden walkway and I often wonder if it gets noisy with people walking by. For a one bedroom, we love the top floor of the main building, especially in the back.
