HHI Airport Question

Hi-
We are heading to HHI 6/05 and this time we are flying into Hilton Head Airport. We've always flown to Savannah in the past.
Has anyone used this airport before?
Anything we should know?

The Savannah airport has been renamed the Savannah/Hilton Head airport so you may be flying into the same airport unless you know you're taking a puddle jumper out to the island.

My dh uses the HH airport often. It's great---very small so very uncrowded. Convenient location, about 4 miles down Hwy. 278 from the DVC resort.

True story: one time I picked up my dh here in my jammies! It was summer time, very hot and humid, his plane got delayed until about 11 pm and I was tired, so I said nuts, I'm going as I am in my comfy jammies (they looked like a shorts outfit). Got to the airport, parked at the curb, went inside and sat at a table, watched as the runway lights got turned on, plane came in, about 12 people got off, no one blinked an eye at my jammies. ONLY IN HILTON HEAD!!!!
