I know I have seen great deals posted on HH for $99 or so. Is this something they offer up at the last minute or in advance? I need a Saturday night in May on cash. If not, can someone suggest where we can stay that first night? I think I would rather stay in HH instead of Savannah. Thanks.

If you have the Disney Visa go to their web sight. For Spring, if available, they offer a 2 bedroom for $149 plus tax. Great deal! I checked on a Saturday night for our family and they did not have anything available for our dates. Good luck!

MS discounts up to 25%, you could call them as well to check for your Saturday night.

Thanks for the great tip. Unfortunetely, the offer expires on May 5th and I need May 15th. Maybe they'll extend it.

We faced the same dilema last year. Surprisingly, staying on HH is cheaper than Savannah, so you've made a good choice. We made our choice looking at yahoo (Travelocity?) Ended up at the Holiday Inn Express, which was OK and extremely convenient. So Sunday morning we could eat our free continental breakfast, check out and run over to the resort. Although our room wasn't ready, we got our length of stay bikes, grocery shopped (front desk was very nice about holding perishables in their refrigerator, walked around, and read all our check-in info. We could have used the pool if we'd chosen to. It looked like there were a lot of acceptable motels on HHI, so I'd look for convenience. There was another motel real close by that had a real inexpensive name (Super 8? Motel 6?) but looked very nice.

Maybe, but I wouldn't count on it. :( Those low rates were offered to try to keep a decent occupancy rate during the slow winter months. The HH resort has no problem with occupancy during the summer months, so I doubt they will be offered.

You can try for a member discount, but likely it will only be available on Friday or Saturday nights (since they are not usually completely sold out during the summer months), but the rate will be higher than $149 per night for a 2BR.

It's worth it, IMHO!

I really like the Fairfield Inn at the Marina in Hilton Head. A five minute walk and you are on the Disney property!

I wonder if they'll offer those rates again next fall? We went to HH on points this past October and want to go again on fall break this year - but we'll be out of points. Anyone remember when the $99 offer began? Was it October or November? We'd jump on a 2 BR for $99 a night if it's available.

It seems to me it started very late in October and it most definitely was all during November, although Thanksgiving weekend I'm sure was already booked by members in advance.

I remember thinking it would have been fun to use the offer over Halloween but my husband had to go out of town the next dayand I didn't want to go by myself with the kids. If it had been earlier in October, I would have jumped all over that offer. What a great deal!
